Dr. Zachary Heinrich was born and raised in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School in 2016. Zachary later attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Business Management from the Rawls College of Business and With Honors from The Honors College. Dr. Heinrich attended the Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in 2024. During his time at IU, Dr. Heinrich trained under leading optometrists in the fields of Glaucoma, Specialty Contact Lenses and Myopia Management while also receiving Ophthalmic Laser Eye Surgery Training at The Eye Specialists of Indiana in Indianapolis. Dr. Heinrich completed externships across the country including in Salt Lake City, UT at one of the premier eye care centers in the Intermountain West, the University of Nebraska Medical Center Truhlsen Eye Institute in Omaha, NE; and lastly proudly provided care for Veterans at the Dorn VA Hospital in Columbia, SC.
Dr. Heinrich is proud to call West Texas home and takes pride in providing quality eye care to those across the Texas Panhandle and Eastern New Mexico. Outside of work, Zachary enjoys spending time with family and friends, is a passionate sports fan that loves cheering on his Red Raiders, has fun golfing and snow skiing, and is an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.
